I watch a lot of DIY and home improvement shows. I probably could watch those shows all day. I offer my advice as my wife and I watch these shows. She seems to be interested in my comments, but I think she is just appeasing me.
I like Mike Holmes. I think I idolize him. I know I can’t “make it right.” If I made it right, (1), I could not afford to do any home projects and (2), I am not a licensed professional. I am one of those guys, where Mike Holmes complains about when he strips the house down to the bare studs.
Nontheless, I learn from his shows and strive to be better than a “just-okay” DIYer.
