I already returned the tile saw, but I got a call on Wednesday from the place how doers get more done that I needed to return the tile saw. What?? I immediately called the store and explained that the saw was returned on Monday before 9 o-clock. The clerk said, “Yeah, I see that the saw is here, I will close it out for you.” Good, I thought that was settled.
However, later I got an email with the final bill showing I paid for 3 days. I immediately called the store and got the same guy and asked why I was charged for 3 days. He said he just closed it out and there was nothing he could do. Of course, I was a little steamed that he would not fix the error. He asked me why I was yelling at him. Apparently, he does not know what yelling is. Let’s say I was a little forceful but did not raise my voice. I then asked for a manager.
The manager was friendly and told me he could refund me the difference. But with cash. Cash still works in the USA, so I was okay with cash. I let him know I would return on Sunday to get the tile saw and I could get my cash then. He told me he would leave a note so it could be taken care of that day. Nonetheless, I went the next day, and I had to settle for a check. A check will work, except it would take a few weeks to process.
